How to Find Images

The images are all given descriptors or tags in English and French .  To find an image go to the tag cloud and click on the subject that you want. Multiple tags will allow you to do more precise searches.

How to Download Images

Select the image that you wish to download and open the actions menu, then click the '"View all Sizes" link inside the menu. On the next page, choose the size you want to download and click the link in the "Download" section.

For Better Viewing

Fluidr allows you to view and search our library with a better viewing experience, however, you are unable to download the images on this site.

The GlobalHort Image Library / Imagethèque on Flickr serves as a bilingual (English and French) “free” central repository of high-resolution images/ digital objects (including photos, tables, and other illustrative material) that can be used by our partners and others to help promote Horticulture for Development (H4D). These images can be used in pedagogical publications, presentations, posters and training materials. This service is intended to compliment rather than duplicate already existent photo repositories.

Can Anyone Download our Images?

Yes they can. GlobalHort Library photos are made available to the public under a non-commercial Creative Commons license. This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon our work non-commercially, and although their new works must also acknowledge GlobalHort and the photographers and be non-commercial, they don’t have to license their derivative works on the same terms.
