The new officials of the Horticultural Association for the year 2008 were elected during the 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at The University of Nairobi on 29th November 2007. They are as follows:

John Mwibanda Wesonga is a lecturer of Crop Protection in the Department of Horticulture at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Kenya. He holds a BSc. in Horticulture from JKUAT, a Masters in Horticulture from the University of Western Sydney, Australia and PhD in Horticulture from JKUAT. He is a member of the International Society of Horticultural Sciences (ISHS).
